Rabisco (Portugal, 1992) is a visual artist whose work centers on the interrogation of the everyday through the creative reuse of discarded materials, with a particular focus on mattresses and other household objects. His artistic journey, solidified during his Fine Arts education at Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal and in Bilbao, Spain in 2018, invites reflection on consumer culture and the ephemeral nature of existence. In his practice, Rabisco transforms these seemingly mundane objects into powerful platforms for expression and catharsis.
